If absolute defences are not realistic we will strive to reduce sentences and penalties by submitting appropriate pleas to the court that are specifically tailored to client’s circumstances. The aim of which would be to mitigate, or paint in a better light, the circumstances surrounding the offence(s).

In other words, we draw the judge or magistrate’s mind to certain relevant factors which may reduce the apparent seriousness of the relevant offence; or which assist to explain the exceptional circumstances that led to the commission of it.

The context surrounding the commission of the offence will also be significant and, similarly, be vehemently submitted in order to provide the best possible outcome
